Just a little about me...let's see, I have always
loved the arts, learning how to draw in Kindergarten and learning how to sew at 11 years old has helped pave the way for my
little business venture Famous Faces By James, which I began in October 2006. Painting and repainting doll faces was
a new concept for me, until sometime in 2005 when I timidly began to paint over existing faces, just to get my feet wet. I
decided to go the celebrity route because I am such a movie buff, and love fantasy characters...then there are the "glamourous"
celebrities that also draw me in! Aside from drawing, painting and sewing, I began to have a real love for my true passion,
music, in 5th grade and soon after joined my school band. I started out on clarinet, learned sax, and by my senior year
in high school, I could also play flute, piccolo, oboe and a little bit of piano. In college I took my music further and learned
how to play violin. But alas, music was not to be my major; at least not instrumentally. I found my voice in college (being
cast in "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown!") and have used it ever since, bringing glory to God through song.
I am very proud to say I am a Christian and am humbled by the gifts the Lord has blessed me with. I am so happy to be able
to share them with people, if only in a very small way. Thank you for visiting my site, I am truly humbled when I get

Sadly, the time has come to end Famous Faces. I have immensely enjoyed making
ooak's the past 2 years, but the time has come to focus all my time on my music - which is my true passion. I will still
be open to take commission work on the side, but the site is being cancelled. Thanks go out to everyone who has supported
